Basic Integration

I tend to teach integration towards the beginning of the course. Here is an early example.

I tend to default to a lot of “what if” questions when I’m asking analysis questions. I’m trying to nudge everyone towards generalizations and widely applicable principles.

At this early stage, my next question is a “completion” problem.

More conventional practice follows.
